I-O Multimedia Performance Company
Founded in 2020, I-O Multimedia Performance Company creates works that bring together dance, Japanese calligraphy, media art, and visual performance. Through performances and research projects in five countries, the company has established an international presence. In 2023, it presented Chiharu Kuronuma’s solo work In/Outside at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where it received high praise from international media. Now led by Kuronuma, the company continues to develop dance-centred works and creative projects in Japan and internationally.
